A family’s history can be represented or grouped together in several format, often referred to as a family tree, a descendancy chart, pedigree, or ancestor chart.
A family tree is usually setup with the oldest generations at the top with the younger or newer generations at the bottom. An ancestry chart is a bottom-up version of a family tree being wider at the top then the bottom.
On some family trees, the individual appears on the left side, with their ancestors appearing to the right. This is he format which I have selected for this presentation.
